MP Polls: Shah To Mount Attack On Congress In BJP's 'Jan Ashirwad' Yatra At Sheopur, Gwalior Today
According to a party official, Shah would arrive in Mandla, in the state's Mahakoshal area, at 12:20 pm to address a rally after launching a leg of the Jan Ashirwad Yatra.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will kick off the Bharatiya Janata Party's 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' from Mandla and Sheopur districts in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday and address public gatherings in both places, news agency PTI reported. According to a party official, Shah would arrive in Mandla, in the state's Mahakoshal area, at 12:20 pm to address a rally after launching a leg of the Jan Ashirwad Yatra, and then travel to Gwalior at 4:40pm to start off the mass outreach programme and address a gathering.
The two sessions would be attended by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, numerous state ministers, and party leaders, he said, adding that Shah will depart for Delhi in the evening, PTI reported.
Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, will launch a leg of the Jan Ashirwad Yatra from Khandwa on Wednesday.
Elections are scheduled at the end of the year in MP, and the ruling BJP is organising yatras from various locations around the state.
These will culminate in a workers' conference termed 'Karyakarta Mahakumbh' in Bhopal on September 25, the birth anniversary of hero Deendayal Upadhyaya.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to give an address at the Karyakarta Mahakumbh, PTI reported.

On Sunday, BJP national president JP Nadda launched the inaugural Jan Ashirwad Yatra from Chitrakoot in Satna district. According to party officials, the yatra would travel through the states of Bundelkhand and Vindhya.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated a leg of the yatra from Neemuch on Monday.
