Lok Sabha Polls: Nadda Holds Meet With BJP State Chiefs, Targets Over 51% Votes At Each Booth
In a bid to simplify the work for the party ahead of the general elections, BJP has divided the country into three sectors – North Region, South Region and East Region
New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda on Friday convened a meeting as the party has been ramping up its campaign for the Lok Sabha elections next year. A strategy was chalked out with the primary focus on booth empowerment. According to party sources, the target would be to garner more than 51 per cent of votes at every booth in favour of the party.
In a bid to simplify the work for the party ahead of the general elections, BJP has divided the country into three sectors – North Region, South Region and East Region, and sector-wise meetings will be held to chalk out a roadmap for the 2024 polls.
The party decided to focus on connecting people from every section of the society. Those who have never been a part of the party will be made aware of the government schemes and special attention will be given to strengthen the party at booth level.

At every booth, the workers will have to be in constant touch with the voters and work to create an atmosphere in favor of the party.
The BJP also decided to form a team of at least 11 workers at every booth.
The party also announced the names of the election in-charges and co in-charges of poll-bound Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana.
The meeting comes a day after a similar meeting that was held with leaders, mostly from eastern and northeastern states, in Guwahati. Also, BJP leaders from southern states and Maharashtra will meet in Hyderabad on Sunday.
According to a report by PTI, the themes of the meeting have been "sewa, sushashan and garib kalyan (service, good governance, welfare of the poor)", with the primary focus on achievements and new initiatives of the government.
