As suggested by various exit polls on June 1, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance was all set to retain its power at the Centre with a thumping victory.

According to the ABP-CVoter survey, the BJP-led alliance is set to win 353 to 383 seats of the total 543 Lok Sabha seats. The BJP alone is projected to win 315 seats, which is greater than its 2019 tally of 303 seats. The I.N.D.I.A bloc, as per the ABP- CVoter exit poll seems to have fallen behind despite its intense campaigning and united efforts to end the NDA's juggernaut.

In Uttar Pradesh, the ABP News-CVoter exit polls suggested that the opposition was likely to win anywhere between 15 and 17 seats with a vote share of 36.9%, while the BJP-led NDA was predicted to win 62-66 seats with 44.1% of the votes in its favour.

In the previous two Lok Sabha polls, PM Modi registered thumping victories from Varanasi. He is seeking a third term in 2024 LS polls.
