​UPSC IFS Exam 2022: Registration Process Begins, Check How To Apply

UPSC: The registration for UPSC IFS exam 2022 has started. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official site. 

UPSC IFS Exam: The Union Public Service Commission has started the registration process for UPSC Indian Forest Service exam 2022. Candidates who wish to apply for the Indian Forest Service Examination can apply online through the upsc.gov.in, the official website of the UPSC. The last date to apply for the exam is February 22. According to the notification, the number of vacancies to be filled up based on the result of the examination is expected to be around 151.

These are the eligibility criteria
Interested candidate should have a bachelor's degree with at least one of these subjects — animal husbandry and veterinary sciences, botany, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics, statistics and zoology or a bachelor's degree in agriculture, forestry or engineering from any university incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.

Age Limit:
The aspiring candidate should have attained the age of 21 years as on August 1, 2022 and should not have attained the age of 32 years.

Selection Process:
According to the notification, there will be two consecutive stages in the Indian Forest Service examination.

Application Fee:
Candidates applying for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (except for female/SC/ST/PWBD candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) will have to pay a fee of Rs 100 either by depositing it in cash at any branch of SBI. Candidates can also make payments using state bank of India's net banking facility or using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card.
