UPSC Civil Services Mains Result 2018 out at upsc.gov.in, 1994 Qualify for Interview, Check list here

UPSC will release an addendum to the Detailed Application Form (DAF) of the main exam soon and candidates will be required to fill in the details and submit cadre and service preferences to the Commission from 21st December 2018 to 3rd January 2019.

UPSC Civil Services Main Exam Result 2018 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), as per which, a total of 1994 candidates have qualified for the next stage i.e. Personality Test for the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’). However, the candidature of these candidates is subject to certificate verification and them fulfilling the claims made during the application process. UPSC will release an addendum to the Detailed Application Form (DAF) of the main exam soon and candidates will be required to fill in the details and submit cadre and service preferences to the Commission from 21st December 2018 to 3rd January 2019. The personality test in all probability will from 4th February 2019 onwards. The official venue of these tests is the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. Qualified candidates are advised to bring along their original documents of age certificates, academic qualifications, and other documents that fit in with their eligibility criteria, at the time of their Personality Test. Candidates will be able to download the e-summon Letter of Personality Test from 8th January 2019 onwards at http://www.upsc.gov.in  & http://www.upsconline.in. Also, candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test must opt in/out for publicly disclosing their scores. Under the Public Disclosure Scheme, the marks of the candidates who appeared in the final stage of examination will be released by UPSC for the purpose of providing employers a database of employable candidates. Candidates can also opt out of the clause. It is mandatory for candidates to submit their preference, in order to be able to download their e-Summon Letters. UPSC has released the results in two formats viz with names and roll numbers and with roll numbers alone.
