I Would Advise All Girls To Focus On Their Career And Goals: Divya Sikarwar Who Secures 1st Rank In UPPSC PCS Exam

Divya Sikarwar, who is the daughter of a retired BSF personnel, successfully cleared the UPPSC PCS exam on her third attempt.

UPPSC PCS 2022 Final Result has been declared and 26-year-old Divya Sikawar from Agra topped the examination. Divya Sikarwar was thrilled to discover that she has secured the top spot among deputy collectors (sub-divisional magistrates) in her third attempt at the exam. Divya, who is the daughter of a retired Border Security Force personnel, successfully cleared the UPPSC exam on her third attempt. On her second attempt, she missed out on making the list by just 2 marks. 

"I am very happy. I would attribute my success to the constant support I received from my parents, family and friends. I took online tuition for the PCS exam. It was a very proud moment for the family. I would advise all the girls to focus on their careers and goals," Divya Sikarwar told news agency ANI.

Saroj, Divya's mother, expressed her immense pride in her daughter's achievement, stating that she had worked tirelessly and studied all day to get to where she is today.

Divya Sikarwar clinched the top position in the UPPSC exam, followed by Pratiksha Pandey from Lucknow and Namrata Singh from Bulandshahr, who secured second and third place respectively. The other candidates who made it to the Top-10 list include Akansha Gupta, Kumar Gaurav, Saltanat Praween, Mohsina Bano, Prajakta Tripathi, Aishwarya Dubey, and Sandeep Kumar Tiwari. This year, a total of 110 female candidates cleared the state civil services exam.

CM Yogi Congratulates The Candidates

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the selected candidates on their success. CM Yogi said, "Congratulations to all the successful candidates in the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination-2022 which was conducted by UPPSC in a transparent and fair manner in a record 10 months. The record success of the daughters of the state in this examination and the representation of almost every district is a new picture of 'new Uttar Pradesh."
