UGC Revises Fellowship Amount For JRF, SRF, Dr DS Kothari And Other Schemes

UGC has revised the Fellowship amounts for various schemes, including Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Senior Research Fellowship (SRF), Dr. DS Kothari Post Doctoral Fellowship, and others.

University Grants Commission (UGC) revises fellowships amounts.

UGC Revises Fellowship Amount: In a notification released by the University Grants Commission (UGC) on October 16, the UGC has issued information regarding the revision of the Fellowship amount under its various fellowship schemes. "The University Grants Commission in its 572nd meeting held on 20 September, 2023 considered and approved the revised rates of Fellowship amount under the UGC Fellowship Schemes", said the official notice released by UGC. Students can check the notice on the official website at ugc.gov.in.

The percentage for calculating house rent allowance, wherever applicable, will be based on the fellowship amount. As per the notice, the revised Fellowship rates will be applicable exclusively to existing beneficiaries.
