UGC NET Admit Card 2020: 'Will Exams Be Postponed?' Students Question Delay In Release Of Hall Ticket

UGC NET Admit Card 2020: Students have been writing to the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and UGC, tweeting and posting on social media for the release of hall tickets. Here are the problems they say they are facing.

New Delhi: With barely 5-6 days to go for the beginning of the UGC NET 2020 exams, students are still left anxiously waiting for the admit card for the exam.  As stated several times earlier, the admit card for UGC NET is supposed to release 15 days ahead of the date of exam commencement. However, in a rather unusual occurrence, students still do not have any clue about when will the hall tickets be released. They have been writing to the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and UGC, tweeting and posting on social media for the same. Many are now beginning to ask will exams be postponed with barely 5-6 days left and no hall ticket available.

Has @DG_NTA forgotten that they had announced that the UGC-NET exam from 16th September onwards? Hardly, a week is left for the exam and the Admit Card has not yet been released. At least let us know if it is happening or will be postponed. #UGCNET @DrRPNishank @EduMinOfIndia

The demands of postponement which rested down with the beginning of JEE (Mains) exams have been restoked by the current delay and ambiguity.

@EduMinOfIndia how are we suppose to give UGCNET exams with every houses getting sealed and areas becoming containment zone. How about postponing National Exams ?

Several students have also raised serious concerns about not being able to make it to their exam centres because of this delay. Candidates say if they do not get to know about their exam centre well in advance, they will not be able to make suitable arrangements for reaching the venue.

So it's 10th of sept & we still haven't received our admit cards. If exms r cancelled they should let us knw. If I dnt receive admit by tomorrow then won't b able to make arrangements to reach exam centre by 16th or 17th due to my location. Dere R many others like me. #ugcnet

Sir where are ugc net exam admit cards? Are u really aware of the situation due to pandemic? We need to make transport arrangements, we have to be mentally prepared and do last minute revisions accordingly. Only 6 days left for the exam. Please understand the anxiety of Students.

@ugc_india like institute are so irresponsible that they declared dates of UGC NET but didn't gave admit card nor any information. They don't even reply queries. Treating applicants like British did to Indians @DrRPNishank @EduMinOfIndia #shameugc #issueadmitcards

The UGC NET is scheduled to be held on September 16 to 18 and then from September 21 to 25. Meanwhile, there has been no clarification of any kind over what has caused this delay and when will the hall tickets finally release. WATCH | J&K: Teachers start community classes for students in Handwara
