The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has started accepting online applications for the recruitment of Librarians in Intermediate Education and Technical Education. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the vacancies on the official website tspsc.gov.in till February 10, 2023. TSPSC recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 71 Librarian vacancies. These vacancies are divided as 40 under the control of the Commissioner of Intermediate Education and 31 under the control of the Commissioner of Technical Education. The selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs 45,960- 1,24,150.

TSPSC has scheduled the Librarian exam (Objective Type) to take place in May/June 2023 in Hyderabad.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must hold a Postgraduate Degree in Library Science.

Age Limit:

Candidates must be between 18-44 years of age as on July 1, 2022. The upper age limit is relaxed for reserved categories.

Application Fee:

Each applicant must pay an application processing fee of Rs 200 and an examination fee of Rs 120. However, all unemployed candidates are exempt from paying the examination fee. It's important for candidates to check the official website for any updates or changes in the eligibility criteria and fee details.

Selection Process:

The Selection of Candidates for appointment to the posts will be made by Written Examination (Objective Type) by CBRT/ OMR Based and the Selection for the posts will be based on marks secured in the written examination. Those candidates who qualify in the written examination in order of merit will be called for verification of certificates, community and category wise for the vacancies available as required. The qualifying marks for selection of the candidates belonging to OC, Sports men & EWS – not less than 40%, BCs - not less than 35% SCs, STs and PH – not less than 30%.

• Navigate to the ‘New Registration OTR’ section and complete the candidate registration process.
• Once registered, log in and apply for the desired post.
• Fill the application form, upload the required documents, and pay the fee.
