SSC CHSL Exam 2022: Application Date Postponed To December 6. Check Details Here

This recruitment drive is aimed at filling up positions of Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the notification date for SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level examination (SSC CHSL 2022) to fill up various positions across ministries and government offices.

The notification will now be released on December 6 on its official website ssc.nic.in instead of November 5. 

“Candidates are informed that the notice of Combined Higher Secondary (10+12) Level Examination, 2022 which was tentatively scheduled to be published on November 5, is now rescheduled to be published on December 6, 2022,” read the latest notice issued by the SSC.

The recruitment drive is aimed at filling up positions of Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, Data Entry Operator. Candidates must be 18 – 27 years of age to apply for the exam.

Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee. Candidates can check the criteria on the official site of SSC.

Only those candidates who have cleared Class 12 exam from a recognised board will be eligible to apply for SSC CHSL 2022 exam. General and OBC category applicants will have to pay Rs 100 as application fees while registering. Candidates will also be given an opportunity to edit the SSC CHSL application form 2022. The SSC CHSL exam dates 2023 will also be declared along with the SSC CHSL notification.

SSC CHSL tier 1 exam pattern

SSC CHSL exam will consist of a Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Typing Test/ Skill Test (Tier-III). The SSC CHSL tier 1 exam will consist of objective questions only. The questions will be set in both English and Hindi for Part 2, 3 and 4. The exam will be of 60 minutes and PwD candidates will get 80 minutes to complete the exam
