JNV Class 6 Selection Test 2024: NVS Extends Registration Deadline Till August 17

The NVS will conduct the JNVST 2024 for Class 6 in two phases in November 2023, and January 2024.

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the registration deadline for JNVST (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test) 2024 for Class 6. Students who wish to take admission in Navodaya Vidyalaya in Class 6 for 2024 academic session can submit their applications for JNV Admissions 2024 till August 17, 2023. The JNVST 2024 Applications are to be submitted in the online mode only on the official website - navodaya.gov.in. The application process was earlier scheduled to conclude on August 10, 2023. The NVS notified the extension of the application deadline through a notice on its official website. 

“The last date to submit online application form for class VI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2024 is extended up to 17.08.2023,” reads a notice on the official website. Candidates may note that they are  allowed to submit their registration cum application forms for JNVST only once. If at any point of verification it is found that any particular student had applied for JNVST in the previous years, the candidature of such candidates shall be cancelled.

“No candidate is eligible to apply for the selection test for the second time, under any circumstances. Particulars filled by the candidate in the application form will be validated & if the candidate is found repeater, he/she will not be allowed to appear in the selection test. Admit cards for such candidates will not be released,” reads the official brochure. For more information on the JNVST 2024 Eligibility Criteria, candidates are advised to visit the official website. 

As per the official schedule, the NVS will conduct the JNVST 2024 for Class 6 in two phases. The first phase of the entrance exam will be held on November 4, 2023, at 11:30 AM, while the second phase of the exam will be held on January 20, 2024, at 11:30 AM. While the NVS is yet to announce the JNVST 2024 Admit Card release date, the JNVST 2024 Result is scheduled to be released by March/ April 2024, as per the official brochure.

  • Visit the official website - navodaya.gov.in
  • On the homepage, click on the link to Apply For JNVST 2024 Class 6
  • In the new page that opens, register online
  • Fill in the application form
  • Pay the application fee and submit the application
  • Download the application confirmation page for reference
