NVS Admission 2024: Registration For Class 9, 11 Lateral Entry To End Today

NVS Admission 2024: Students need to submit the application form on the official website at navodaya.gov.in.

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will close the registration window for Class 9 and 11 lateral entry admissions 2024 today, November 15. Interested students can complete their registration for JNV Class 9 and 11 lateral entry admission 2024 on the official website at navodaya.gov.in. Following the registration deadline, the NVS will open the application correction window from November 16 to November 17, 2023. During this period, students will have the opportunity to make necessary corrections in certain fields, including gender, category, area, and disability.

According to the NVS notification, the examination for lateral entry to Class 9 and 11 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is scheduled for February 10, 2024. For the Class 11 lateral entry exam, students must have passed the Class 10 examination from a school affiliated with CBSE, a state board, or any other recognized board. As for Class 9 applicants, they should be legitimate residents and currently enrolled in Class 8 at a government or government-recognized school in the district where a JNV is situated.

To apply for NVS Admission 2024, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website at navodaya.gov.in.
  • Click on the ‘JNV Class 9 or 11 admission 2024’ link.
  • Choose the registration option and provide the necessary information to complete the registration.
  • Log in using the credentials generated during the registration process.
  • Fill out the application form with the required details.
  • Upload the necessary documents and submit the application.
  • Save and take a printout of the application form for future reference.

NVS Admission 2024: Fees

Selected students will receive comprehensive support, including tuition, accommodation, uniforms, and textbooks at no cost. However, students in Classes 9 to 12 are required to contribute Rs 600 per month towards Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi. Those falling under SC, ST, and PwD categories, female students, and individuals from families below the poverty line (BPL) are exempted from this monthly fee.
