NTA Extends CSIR-UGC NET, JNUEE 2020 Registration Deadline; Check Details Here

Aspirants who faced hardship in filling the application forms during the Coronavirus induced lockdown, may now be able to apply for these exmas before June 15. Earlier, the deadline to register for these exams was till May 31.

The National Testing Agency has revised the application registration deadline for the various national level exams including UGC NET, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), ICAR, CSIR- NET, JNUEE and IGNOU Open MAT till June 15. Aspirants who faced hardship in filling the application forms during the Coronavirus induced lockdown may now be able to apply for these exams before June 15. Earlier, the deadline to register for these exams was till May 31. Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced the latest updates and the revised deadline of application for these exams. The minister posted the official notice issued by the national level examination conducting agency which read that in view of many requests received from students and the hardships faced by them due to COVID-19 epidemic, NTA has further extended the dates of submission of Online Application Forms for various examinations. The revised deadline for online application forms is given below:
  • INGOU Ph.D. and OPENMAT (MBA) 2020: June 15, 2020
  • ICAR 2020: June 15, 2020
  • JNUEE 2020: June 15, 2020
  • UGC NET 2020: June 15, 2020
  • Joint CSIR-UGC NET 2020: June 15, 2020
  The notice further mentions that submission of online application forms shall be accepted upto 5PM and submission of fee up to 11:50PM. The students can pay the requisite fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net banking/ UPI and PAYTM.
