New Delhi: Noida Authority and Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) will train about 860 students in a year. The internship program has been launched by these two government agencies on August 25, 2021, and the training program is expected to start on September 21, 2021.

While Noida Authority will conduct two batches of 250 students in a year, Noida Metro will hone the skills of 180 students twice a year. In this regard, officials said that students from recognized private or government colleges and universities who are willing to get experience with the government body can apply for internships. Applications can be made for internships from August 25 to September 10, 2021.

The duration of training will be from four weeks to four months. Both the agencies will also expect students to deposit a fee of Rs 4000 for training up to eight weeks and Rs 6000 for a longer duration.

Ritu Maheshwari, CEO of both Noida Authority and NMRC, said, “Only a nominal fee will be charged as we want only students serious about their career to apply for the training programme. In return, we will provide welcome kits, metro travel cards and some other facilities to the students at our offices."

"We are also going to give cash prizes and prizes at the end of the training program to the meritorious students," Maheshwari further added.
