IGNOU Extends Last Date To Apply For Admission To August 16| Check All Details Here

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the date to apply for admission to August 16. This year students will have to complete the registration process online.

New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has decided to extend the last date of application to 16th August 2020. Students who are interested can do so by applying online on their official website ignou.ac.in. Initially, the last date was 31st July 2020. IGNOU was founded as a means of distance and open education it is known for providing quality higher education opportunities to all segments of society. It also aims to encourage, coordinate, and set standards for distance and open education in India, and to strengthen the human resources of India through education. IGNOU is known to provide education for all. The University provides courses ranging from Tourism to Anthropology.   • Registration fees can be paid through credit or debit cards and netbanking
According to the admission notification, fee exemption available to SC/ST students but it can be claimed for one programme only. Students can contact the student service centre contact if they face any difficulty during the admission process at ssc@ignou.ac.in, 011-29572513, and 29572514. Students can also contact the registration division: csrc@ignou.ac.in, 011-29571301, 29571528 or any of the Regional Centres/Study Centres of the University. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all admission processes have to be conducted online in order to avoid gathering of any sorts in colleges and universities. The pandemic also delayed the admission processes disrupting the academic year.
