KCET Application 2024 Last Date Extended Till February 20

KCET Application 2024: Interested candidates can apply online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024. Candidates now have until February 20 to complete their registration process. Those who have not yet applied can access the KCET application form 2024 via the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

“Candidates who have not registered with KEA, can register and apply online upto 11.59 pm on 20-02-2024 and pay the fees up to 5.30 pm on 23-02-2024 for CET 2024. For the welfare of the student community, dates have been extended for CET 2024 which is scheduled on 18-04-2024 and 19-04-2024,” said KEA in an official notice.

Previously, the deadline to apply for the state engineering and medical entrance exam was February 10. KEA initiated the KCET 2024 registration process on January 10. However, from January 13 to January 17, 2024, the KCET application form 2024 was unavailable due to issues with the SATS services required for validating student data. Candidates were then able to apply for the exam starting January 18.

The KCET exam 2024 has been scheduled for April 18 and 19. Initially, the exam was planned for April 20 and 21. However, these dates were revised due to a clash with the NDA exams scheduled for April 21. This adjustment ensures that students can attend both examinations without any conflicts.

KCET Application 2024 Fees

The application fee for KCET 2024 varies based on the category of the candidates:

- For General Merit (GM), 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B candidates of Karnataka, the application fee is Rs 500.
- For CAT-1/SC/ST candidates of Karnataka, the application fee is Rs 200.
- Candidates who have studied outside Karnataka are required to pay Rs 750 as the application fee.
