BPSC 69th Main 2023 Registration Underway, Know Steps To Apply

BPSC 69th Main 2023 Registration: Interested candidates can apply online at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is currently accepting applications for the 69th main examination 2023 on its official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in. The registration window will be open until December 6. Around 5,299 candidates who successfully cleared the BPSC 69th preliminary exam 2023 are competing for 475 vacancies in the main exam. The fee details indicate that general category candidates need to pay Rs. 750, while SC, ST, and female candidates are required to deposit Rs. 200.

The BPSC 69th main exam comprises three sections: general studies, first paper, second paper, and an essay question, collectively carrying 900 marks. An interview round will also be conducted, which holds a weightage of 120 marks. Final allotment will be based on the cumulative marks obtained in the written exam and the availability of vacancies.

Step 2: If you're a new user, register by providing details like name, contact information, and email.

Step 3: Use the provided credentials to log in to the application portal.

Step 4: Complete the application form with accurate personal, educational, and contact details.

Step 5: Upload scanned copies of required documents, such as a photograph, signature, and any other specified certificates.

Step 6: Pay the application fee as per your category through the available online payment modes.

Step 7: Double-check all the entered information and documents before final submission.

Step 8: After submission, save or print the confirmation page for future reference.

BPSC 69th Main 2023 Exam Pattern

In the BPSC Main Exam, there are specific papers, their corresponding marks and durations:

  1. General Hindi (Qualifying):

    • Marks: 100
    • Duration: 3 Hours
  2. General Studies Paper 1:

    • Marks: 300
    • Duration: 3 Hours
  3. General Studies Paper 2:

    • Marks: 300
    • Duration: 3 Hours
  4. Optional Paper:

    • Marks: 300
    • Duration: 3 Hours

Candidates had the option to choose their preferred subject from a list of 34 Optional Subjects for the Optional Paper in the Main Exam.
