Students got to interact with the minister on social media website Twitter using #EducationMinisterGoesLive, and posed their queries regarding CBSE Board Exam 2021, JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021. While some students have asked for a reduced syllabus of CBSE board exam, others have asked the minister about the examination dates.

Medical and Engineering students also asked the Education Minister to announce JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021 syllabus besides urging to postpone the entrance exams. Pokhriyal said if students can't go to schools for lab-related works, it will not be possible to conduct practical exams. "We will discuss in this regard," the minister added.

Addressing engineering entrance exam students, the minister said that there is discussion to conduct JEE Main 2021 twice, thrice or four times. The JEE-Main will be held in multiple shifts, over three to four days, in February, March, April and May, as per the Indian Express report. Students can appear for all four exams, and only their best score will be considered for the final All-India Rank list. Talking about NEET 2021 exam date, the exam schedule may be released soon and ample time will be given for students to prepare for exams. While interacting on the Twitter handle of the minister, students also urged to postpone the JEE Main January 2021 exam.

Responding to another question about a reduction of 10-20 per cent syllabus, Pokhriyal said CBSE has already reduced syllabus by 30 per cent. "If the situation remains the same, that the exams have to be postponed, we will take a decision then," he added.
