JEE Main 2020 Result Date: Know Dates For Answer Key, Results And JEE Advanced Exams

JEE Mains 2020 Results and Exam Cut Off Marks: The JEE Main exams ended on September 6 and now the results are awaited. Here are important dates for JEE Main and Advanced exams and results.

JEE Main Cut off 2020: The JEE Mains 2020 which started from September 1 ended on September 6. The exams were held after a considerable delay due to the pandemic and backlash from parents, students, and political leaders who continued to urge for postponement of the exams due to increasing Covid 19 cases in India. On Friday, 4th September 2020, the Supreme Court also dismissed the petition filed by ministers of six states seeking review of the court's August 17 order that allowed NEET and JEE (Mains) examinations to be conducted. Although the National Testing Agency(NTA) has not given an official date, it is likely to be released soon. This will be a provisional answer key that will have the correct answers to the questions from the exams. The cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks for entry to various institutes in the country. Those candidates who pass JEE Main 2020 by scoring equal to or more than the cutoff marks will become eligible to apply for admission in Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT), and National Institutes of Technology (NITs). The cutoffs will be released along with the results for JEE Main exams. According to media reports and the website jeeadv.ac.in, the results of JEE Mains will be announced tentatively on September 11. JEE Advanced Those candidates applying for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) will have to appear for JEE Advanced which will take place on September 27 this year. Earlier, the admit cards for the same were released from August 17 till September 6. According to the website jeeadv.ac.in, the tentative date for JEE advanced results is October 5th.   • Commencement of seat allocation process expected from- 06 October 2020
