As per the official schedule, the NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 Session-1 Exam from January 24 to February 1, while the Session-2 Exam will be held from April 1 to 15, 2024.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2024 Official Brochure soon on its official website. Besides releasing the official brochure, the NTA is also likely to release the JEE Main 2024 Application Form soon. Interested candidates who wish to appear for the JEE Main Examination 2024, are advised to keep visiting the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in, for more details and latest updates on the JEE Main 2024 Exam. 

There is no official comment from the NTA on the release of JEE Main Brochure or application process, but considering that the NTA is slated to conduct the JEE Main 2024 Session-1 in January 2024, the JEE Main 2024 application process is expected to be around the corner. As per the NTA Exam Calendar 2024, the JEE Main 2024 Session-1 Exam will be conducted from January 24 to February 1, while Session-2 of the exam will be from April 1 to 15, 2024. 

Once the NTA releases the JEE Main Application Brochure, interested candidates will be able to check the JEE Main 2024 important dates, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, detailed syllabus, and more. However, the JEE Main 2024 Exam is most likely to carry over its familiar syllabus, exam format and eligibility criteria for aspirants, from its 2023 iteration this year. 

Notably, the JEE Main is a national-level exam held annually by the NTA to shortlist suitable candidates for admissions into undergraduate programmes offered by IIITs, NITs, and other Government-Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs) across the country. Candidates who clear the JEE Main Exam also become eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced Exam which serves as a gateway to admissions in undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs. 

Earlier this year, the NTA conducted the JEE Main Session -1 Exam 2023 from January 24 to 31, while the JEE Main Session-2 Exam 2023 was held from April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15, 2023. Approximately 8 lakh candidates reportedly appeared for the JEE Main Session-2 Exam 2023.
