New Delhi: The National Testing Agency on Thursday released its examination calendar for the academic year 2023-24.
On Friday, the NTA also released the JEE Main 2023 Notification online on jeemain.nta.nic.in. The official notification briefly announced the JEE Main 2023 Exam Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, Age Limit, and other details. As per the notification, the JEE Main 2023 Exams will begin on January 24, 2022.

Moreover, the JEE Main 2023 Exam will consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Paper 1 will be held for admissions into B.Tech/ B.E. programmes whereas Paper-2 will be held for B.Arch and B.Planning courses. The JEE Main 2023 Exam will also be held in two sessions as earlier.
The schedule mentions dates for ICAR AIEEA (PG), All India Entrance Examination for (a) admission to 25% seats in Master Degree Programme in accredited Agricultural Universities, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) an all India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS) and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India, the Common University Entrance Test, an all-India test for admission to various Undergraduate, Integrated, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification courses and Research Programmes in 45 Central Universities of India.

NTA, established by the Ministry of Education (MOE), is an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organisation under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent, and international standardised tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.
As per the official notification, the NTA JEE Main Paper-1 Exam 2023 for session-1 will be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2023. The session-2 of Paper-1 exam will be conducted from April 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 2023.
