Haryana Board Exams For Classes 5 & 8 Not To Be Conducted This Year, Says CM Khattar
Haryana News: The Haryana government has now decided not to conduct the board exams of class 5th and 8th.
Haryana News: Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has announced that there will be no board exams for classes 5th and 8th in Haryana board schools.
Earlier, the Haryana government had announced to convert the 5th and 8th exams into board exams this year.

The Haryana government's decision was being opposed by private schools and parents. There was also a claim from private schools to go to court against this decision of the Haryana government.
"There will be no 5th, 8th class board exams for one year. Both CBSE and Haryana Board exams have been postponed. There will be no board exams for classes 5th and 8th this year," said CM Khattar.
The Haryana government, however, is considering implementing its decision from the next session.
According to a statement issued by the Haryana government, the 5th and 8th board exams will be held from the next session. More information in this regard will be provided by the government soon.
The Haryana government has allowed schools to conduct exams at their own level this year.
The situation on the 10th and 12th examinations has not been cleared by the Haryana government. It is not yet clear whether students will get a chance to take the online exam this time in view of the threat of coronavirus.
