Delhi Nursery Admission 2024 First Merit List: The Delhi Directorate of Education has released the merit list for admission to Pre-School (Nursery), Pre-Primary (KG), and Class 1 in private unaided schools. The merit list is now available on the official websites of the respective schools. Parents can access and review the merit list on these school websites to gain valuable insights into the admission process for these academic levels in private unaided schools. Additionally, parents can refer to the Directorate of Education's official website at https://www.edudel.nic.in/ for further information and updates related to the admission process.

Following the release of the initial admission list, schools are mandated to address any parental inquiries between January 13 and January 22, as outlined in the official notification. During this designated period, schools are expected to actively engage with parents, providing clarifications and responding to questions regarding the admission process. 

It's crucial to note that 25% of seats in all private unaided recognized schools catering to pre-school, pre-primary, and Class 1 must be reserved for EWS, DG, and children with disability categories.

Delhi Nursery Admissions 2024 Important Dates

Display of the first list of selected candidates: January 12, 2024

Resolution of parents' grievances: January 13 to 22, 2024

Display of the second list of selected candidates: January 29, 2024

Subsequent lists, if any: February 21, 2024

Closure of the admission process: March 08, 2024

In case of a tie among applicants in the admission process, a random draw will be conducted. This draw can be facilitated using either a computer or slips, and the presence of parents during the process will be allowed. To ensure transparency and accountability, the entire event will be recorded on video, and the school will retain the recorded footage. This procedure has been put in place to maintain fairness and transparency in the tie-breaking process.
