UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar has announced that the online application process for CUET UG 2023 Exam will begin tonight. The UGC Chairman took to twitter to announce the opening of the CUET UG 2023 registration window. He further stated that the last day to register for CUET UG 2023 will be March 12, 2023. 

“Announcement on CUET-UG: Online Submission of Application Form for Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG) - 2023] for Admission to Undergraduate Programmes will start tonight. Last date for submission of applications is 12 March 2023,” the UGC Chairman tweeted from his official twitter handle. 

He further stated that the CUET UG 2023 Exam Cities will be announced on April 30, 2023. Candidates will be able to download their CUET UG 2023 Admit Cards from the second week of May 2023. The CUET UG 2023 Exam will begin from May 21, 2023. 

Beside announcing the CUET UG 2023 Application timeline, the UGC Chairman also highlighted other essential details on one of India’s most sought-after undergraduate entrance exams. In a series of tweets, he further added that the CUET UG 2023 Examination will be conducted in 13 languages; English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The UGC Chairman further stated that Section 1A of the CUET UG Exam 2023 will have 13 Indian languages while Section 1B will have 20 other languages. Moreover, Section 2 of the exam will have 27 domain subjects, while Section 3 will be a general test. Candidates appearing for the CUET UG 2023 Exam will be allowed to choose a maximum of 10 subjects from all three sections.

M Jagadesh Kumar further added that the CUET UG 2023 Exam will be conducted on multiple days in three shifts, depending on the number of applicants appearing for the exam and the choice of subjects opted for. Candidates will be able to apply for CUET UG 2023 through the online mode only through the official CUET UG 2023 website.
