CTET July 2024 Registration Closes Today; Here's How To Fill Application Form

CTET July 2024 Registration: Interested candidates can apply online at ctet.nic.in.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the registration window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) July session today, April 2, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who are yet to apply can fill the application form on the official website at ctet.nic.in. The CTET July 2024 exam will be held on July 7 in 20 languages in 136 cities across the country. CTET exam 2024 will be held for two papers in separate shifts - paper 2 will be held in the morning shift from 9.30 am to 12 noon and paper 1 in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. 

Applicants are required to select four different exam centers in the order of preference and proximity to their residence address.
“The candidate’s particulars cannot be changed/edited once the examination fee has been submitted. However, the facility of corrections in the particulars (except city of examination) may be made available on the portal during the specified period which will be notified on the website of CTET,” CBSE said in a notice.

CTET 2024 Registration: Steps To Fill Application Form

Step 1: Visit the official website of the CBSE CTET at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the registration link.

Step 3: Fill the required details in the application form.

Step 4: Upload the documents.

Step 5: Pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.

CTET 2024 Application Fee

Here are the details regarding the CTET application fees:

For candidates belonging to General and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) categories:

  • Application fee for one paper (either Paper 1 or Paper 2): Rs 1,000
  • Additional fee for appearing in both papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2): Rs 200
  • Total fee for both papers: Rs 1,200

For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and differently-abled categories:

  • Application fee for one paper (either Paper 1 or Paper 2): Rs 500
  • Additional fee for appearing in both papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2): Rs 100
  • Total fee for both papers: Rs 600
