CBSE Class 10th Result 2019 DECLARED, 91.10% overall pass percentage, all you need to know

CBSE Class 10th Result 2019: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the much-awaited Class 10th Result 2019 today on cbseresults.nic.in. While a total of 13 students have made it to the top score of 499/500, 25 more followed at 498/500. The central board students have registered a magnificent hike of 4.4% in the overall pass percentage by achieving 91.10% in 2019 as compared to 86.70% in 2018. Foreign schools of CBSE recorded 98.75% pass percentage, this year. Keeping up with the trend, girls outshined boys with a pass percentage of 92.45% and 90.14% respectively. Transgender students achieved a new feat by surpassing others and registering a pass percentage of 94.74%. Girls, boys and transgender students outperformed the last year’s numbers. 19,298 schools across the country and abroad had registered whopping 17,74,299 students for the CBSE Secondary School Exams 2019 that were held from 15th February to 4th April 2019 at 4974 examination centres. A total of 17,61,078 candidates had appeared for the exams out of which 16,04,428 students were declared pass this afternoon. CBSE 10th Class Result 2019 Declared: Here is a list of 13 toppers who scored 499 marks out of 500 Region-wise Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala retained its uncrowned glory of scoring the highest pass percentage in CBSE Board results. The capital city of the southern state, registered a pass percentage of 99.85%, marginally up from last year’s 99.60%. The second and third spots too were held the same as last year by Chennai and Ajmer, respectively, with 99% and 95.89% pass percentages. Speaking about the capital of India, though a far cry from the national average of 91.10%, Delhi showed an improvement of 2.35% as compared to last year by achieving 80.97% pass percentage in CBSE Class 10th Results 2019. School-wise, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) maintained their supremacy with 99.47% pass percentage, followed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) at 98.57%. Independent schools too registered a healthy 94.15% pass percentage, while government-aided and government schools struggled behind at 76.95% and 71.91% pass percentages.
