Fake News ALERT! CBSE Class 10th results NOT to be declared today, confirms board's PRO
CBSE PRO Rama Sharma said that the board will duly inform the date, time and arrangements to access results, through official communication.
CBSE 10th class result 2019: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not announce the results of class 10th board examinations today, the board has confirmed. Bringing the speculations of result declaration on May 5 to an end, Rama Sharma, PRO CBSE said, "There is unconfirmed fake news being circulated on some social media platforms about CBSE class X results being announced today. It is to inform all Principals, students, parents and public that CBSE class X results will not be declared today." She further said that the board will duly inform the date, time and arrangements to access results, through official communication.

This year, over 18 lakh candidates have appeared for the CBSE 10th exam 2019. As per the number of media reports that are doing rounds on the internet, the results for the class 10 board exams were going to be released on Sunday, after the board announced the scores of class 12 results last week, on May 2. In the past, CBSE has declared the class 10th results within a 2-3 days of announcing class 12th exam results, besides announcing the result date a day ahead of declaring the results. However, now its has been confirmed that the scores will not be announced on Sunday, but the board will duly inform the students prior the declaration. CBSE class 10th result 2019 is the most trending point of discussion amongst over 18 lakh students who had appeared for the secondary school board exam earlier this year. A whopping 18,27,472 students had registered for CBSE Class 10th Board Exams this year, out of 31,14,831 total registrations. The secondary school exams were held from 21st February to 29th March 2019, this year. Last year, the CBSE Class X Examination 2018 result was announced on 29th May 2018, while Senior School Certificate Examination i.e. Class XII Examination 2018 result was declared on 26th May 2018.
