Caught On Cam: Noida Man Killed As Speeding Audi Tosses Him Into Air
A CCTV footage of the incident showed white Audi tossing the man in the air for some distance.
A resident from Noida was killed on Sunday morning after he was allegedly hit by a speeding Audi car, tossing him in the air for some distance, said the police. The incident took place at around 6:30 am and the car was being driven "swiftly and negligently", according to the police.
"A man identified as Pradeep, who lives near Gijhor village, today approached the Sector 24 police station and informed officials that his father Janak Dev Sah has met with an accident involving a car and he has passed away," Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida) Manish Mishra said.
The senior police official said that the erring "white-coloured" vehicle and its driver are yet to be traced, according to PTI.

An FIR has been lodged in connection with the matter, Mishra said, adding legal proceeding were initiated including the post-mortem. CCTV footage is being checked for the identification of the vehicle and other police teams are also working on the case," Mishra said.
A CCTV footage is being widely shared on social media where the victim could be seen struck by the white Audi.
The incident comes just days after a hit-and-run case was reported from Maharashtra's Pune where a speeding Porsche killed two people. According to the police, a 17-year-old was behind the wheels but the family tried to mislead while the driver employed by the family said that he was driving the car.
The police arrested juvenile's father and grandfather in connection with the case, which is being probed by crime branch.
The teenager was earlier granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board, but following a review application by the police, he was sent to an observation home till June 5.
