Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Laxmi Nagar Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

Laxmi Nagar Assembly Constituency Wards*

In the Laxmi Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of four wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the four wards of the Laxmi Nagar assembly constituency are Pandav Nagar, Lalita Park, Shakarpur, and Laxmi Nagar.

1. Pandav Nagar: In the Laxmi Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Pandav Nagar is ward number two hundred in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 71,022. The Pandav Nagar (Ward 200) MCD seat is unreserved.

2. Lalita Park: In the Laxmi Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Lalita Park is ward number two hundred-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 55,805. The Lalita Park (Ward 201) MCD seat is reserved for women.

3. Shakarpur: In the Laxmi Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Shakarpur is ward number two hundred-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 66,256. The Shakarpur (Ward 202) MCD seat is unreserved.

4. Laxmi Nagar: In the Laxmi Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Laxmi Nagar is ward number two hundred-three in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 47,859. The Laxmi Nagar (Ward 203) MCD seat is reserved for women.
