Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Krishna Nagar Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Krishna Nagar  Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of four wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the four wards of the Krishna Nagar assembly constituency are Anarkali, Jagat Puri, Geeta Colony, and Krishna Nagar.

1. Anarkali: In the Krishna Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Anarkali is ward number two hundred-eight in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 57,322. The Anarkali (Ward 208) MCD seat is reserved for women.

2. Jagat Puri: In the Krishna Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Jagat Puri is ward number two hundred-nine in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 76,170. The Jagat Puri (Ward 209) MCD seat is unreserved.

3. Geeta Colony: In the Krishna Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Geeta Colony is ward number two hundred-ten in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 59,249. The Geeta Colony (Ward 210) MCD seat is reserved for women.

4. Krishna Nagar: In the Krishna Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Krishna Nagar is ward number two hundred-eleven in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 61,458. The Krishna Nagar (Ward 211) MCD seat is unreserved.
