The monsoon in Uttar Pradesh has once again turned patchy. While some areas are seeing occasional showers, much of the state continues to grapple with hot and humid weather. On July 11, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast heavy rainfall in parts of Bundelkhand, along with thunder and lightning warnings.

Scattered showers, accompanied by thunder, are expected in both western and eastern regions of the state today. Rainfall is likely to intensify across UP on Saturday, with widespread downpours expected. Strong showers are also likely on July 15 and 16 in many parts of the state. There won't be any significant changes in the maximum and minimum temperatures till July 14.

The highest temperature in the state on Wednesday was recorded at 37.5°C in Ballia and the lowest temperature was logged at Najibabad at 23.0°C.
