The Telangana government order will remain in force for all government employees, teachers, contract and outsourced staff, boards, corporations and public sector employees.

The Telangana government has issued a directive granting permission to all government Muslim employees to leave their offices early for offering prayers during the month of Ramzan.
In India, Ramadan is expected to begin on Friday (February 28) and the first fast set to begin on Saturday if the Sha’ban moon is sighted on February 28.
The directive said that all the Muslim employees working in government departments can leave their offices at 4 pm during Ramzan to offer necessary prayers, "except when their presence is required due to exigencies of services during the above period."
The Telangana government has issued a directive granting permission to all government Muslim employees to leave their offices at 4 pm due to the holy month of Ramzan.
The order will remain in effect throughout the holy month of Ramzan, observed by the Muslim community, from March 2 to March 31 this year.
"Government hereby permits all the Government Muslim Employees/ Teachers / Contract / Out-sourcing / Boards / Corporations & Public Sector Employees working in the State to leave their Offices / Schools at 4.00 p.m. during the Holy Month of "RAMZAN" i.e., from 02.03.2025 to 31.03.2025 (both days inclusive) to offer necessary prayers, except when their presence is required due to exigencies of services during the above period," the Telangana government order stated.

The order will remain in force for all government employees, teachers, contract and outsourced staff, boards, corporations and public sector employees.
