Telangana DSP Dies On The Spot After Speeding APSRTC Hits Him In Rangareddy
A Telangana DSP died in Hayathnagar after being hit by a rashly driven APSRTC bus during his morning walk.

A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) was killed after he was hit by a speeding bus in the Hayathnagar area of Rangareddy district, in Telangana, in the early hours of Saturday.
The accident occurred at around 4:40 am when DSP TN Nandeshwara Babji was out on a walk near Hanuman Temple in Laxma Reddy Pallem. The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (AP-SRTC) Nuizveedu Depot was travelling from Abdullapurmet to Hayathnagar when it allegedly hit him. According to ANI, the driver was driving rashly and negligent.
Babji had suffered serious injuries and reportedly died on the spot.
According to ANI, authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. The Hayathnagar Police Station has taken over the investigation to gather further details and determine any potential legal action against the driver.
MSRTC Kills Vegetable Vendor
On Thursday, a man was killed in Latur city in Maharastra, after being hit by a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus that went out of control after being rammed by a truck. The incident took place at Ausa T point at 6:40 am, there were 13 passengers on the bus, none of who were injured, as per a PTI report.
The bus hit a vegetable vendor Tukaram Jadhav, 55, who was sitting by the side of the road.
The MSRTC bus was turning when it was struck by a speeding truck, causing it to veer out of control. An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and efforts are underway to apprehend the truck driver, who fled the scene, Ausa police said.
According to PTI, local residents reported that approximately 40 accidents have occurred at Ausa T-Point, a junction connecting the Ratnagiri-Nagpur and Latur-Umarga highways. They also noted that a proposed flyover project, which could have alleviated the situation, was cancelled.
