ED Searches Locations Linked To Tamil Nadu Minister KN Nehru, Lok Sabha MP Son

The Enforcement Directorate raided multiple locations linked to Tamil Nadu Minister KN Nehru and his son, Arun Nehru, in connection with a Rs 22 crore bank fraud case.

The Enforcement Directorate on Monday conducted searches at multiple locations linked to Tamil Nadu Minister KN Nehru and his son, Lok Sabha MP Arun Nehra. 

The raids were reportedly in connection with a Rs 22 crore bank fraud case, reported India Today quoting sources. The case was registered on a complaint by the Indian Overseas Bank against Truedom EPC Limited. Minister Nehru’s brother N Ravichandran is a director with Truedom EPC Limited.

Raids were also conducted at locations linked with real estate firm True Value Homes (TVH), owned by N Ravichandran. A total of 13 locations were raided by the ED, including Minister Nehru’s house in Trichy.

The enforcement agency also searched GSNR Rice Industries Pvt Limited in Chennai which reportedly belongs to Nehru's son and DMK MP Arun Nehru, reported ANI. 

The ED officials arrived at 7 am on Monday at the TVH Ekanta flat in three cars conducting searches at various places belonging to KN Nehru, state minister for municipal administration, urban, and water supply.
