Juice Vendor Arrested In UP's Shamli For 'Spitting' In Juice — On Cam

A juice vendor in the Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh was purportedly seen in a video spitting in juice. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media drawing strong reactions from the internet users.

This incident happened near the flower market in Shamli district on Monday afternoon. According to a report in ETV, the accused juice vendor was identified as Asif and he was apprehended by the Sadar Kotwali police after the video went viral.

The viral video showed Asif purportedly spitting into the mug while preparing the juice for the customers. He is then seen wiping his mouth after the act. 

UP Vendor Arrested For Serving Juice Mixed With Urine

In a separate incident in Ghaziabad, another juice vendor was arrested for allegedly mixing urine with juice. The vendor, identified as Amir, along with his minor helper, reportedly served juice laced with urine to customers in the Indirapuri area.

The incident came to light when locals felt the juice tasted funny and sought to investigate. Amir's customers on Thursday caught the shop operator red-handed and beat him up on Friday. He was then handed over to the police. The police said they found a can of urine from the shop, Khushi Juice Corner.

The samples of juice and human urine were sent for investigation.

ACP from Ankur Vihar, Ghaziabad, Bhaskar Verma stated that the cops at Loni Border Police station were informed that the human urine was being mixed in juice by the vendors of Khushi Juice Corner. The police immediately reached the spot and investigated.

He said a can containing about one litre of human urine was found in the shop. When interrogated, the shopkeepers could not provide a satisfactory answer. The police immediately arrested Amir and detained his minor accomplice. A case was registered.
