Delhi Police Issue Traffic Advisory For Republic Day Parade Rehearsals, Check Dates And Timings
The Delhi Police have issued a traffic advisory in connection with the full dress rehearsal for January 22 and for Republic Day celebration at Chhtatrasal Stadium on January 25.

As per the details provided in the advisory, Chief Minster of Delhi, who is the chief guest, will host the National Flag at the Chhatrasal Stadium on January 25.
It said that it will be a state level function, in which ministers, MLAs, high dignitaries and a large number of government officials of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, senior citizens and school children will participate, thus adequate traffic arrangements have been made for the said function.
In the advisory, it has said that around 250 buses and around 1000 light vehicles are expected to come, which may cause some congestion around the stadium. It has asked the commuters to avoid the following roads and take alternate routes on January 22 and January 25, from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

- Inner Ring Road - from IP College to Azadpur Chowk
- GTK Road - from Shakti Nagar to Azadpur Chowk
- Chhatrasal Stadium Road Gujrawala Town
- Burari Chowk to Vijay Nagar T-point via Camp Chowk
Traffic restrictions have been imposed in Gurugram on the entry of heavy and medium goods vehicles into the city as part of the traffic management plan for the Republic Day celebrations, as reported by India TV.
As per the advisory issued by the city's traffic police, these vehicles will not be allowed to enter the cities from 5 pm on January 22 until 1:30 pm on January 23. Heavy vehicles have been restricted to enter the two cities from 5 pm on January 25 to 1.30 pm January 26.
Traffic advisory has also been issued in Noida to manage vehicular movement during the Republic Day full dress rehearsal and the parade. It said that heavy vehicles entering Delhi from Chilla border can take a U-turn at Chilla Red Light and proceed via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, connecting to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
The advisory stated that general public and motorists may remain updated through Delhi Traffic Police's official channels, social media accounts and helpline numbers.
