Ram Mandir Trust Receives Bomb Threat Mail: 'Increase Your Security'
The temple trust said that the threat mail was sent to them via mail on Monday. Following the threat mail, a search operation was launched and an FIR registered at the Ayodhya cyber police station.

The Ram Mandir Trust on Tuesday received a threat mail warning of bombing the grand temple in Ayodhya, prompting the police and security agencies to launch in investigation.
The temple trust said that the threat mail was sent to them via mail on Monday night. Following the threat mail, a search operation was launched and an FIR registered at the Ayodhya cyber police station. The email said, "Increase the security of the temple."
Apart from the Ram Mandir trust, the emails were received by authorities in Firozabad, Aligarh, Barabanki and Chandauli, following which the authorities rushed bomb disposal units, anti-sabotage checking teams, dog squads and local police into action. All the buildings were evacuated and thoroughly searched.
However, authorities in all four districts said that no explosives or suspicious items were found. In Ayodhya, security personnel launched an extensive search operation, combing through the area for any suspicious activity or threats.

In Aligarh, a senior police officer said, "Soon after the email was received, security forces reached the district magistrate's office and evacuated the premises. A thorough inspection of the entire complex was conducted."
In Chandauli, District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde said a person identifying himself as Gopal Swami had sent an email warning of a possible bomb blast at the collectorate, allegedly linked to political issues in Tamil Nadu.
Preliminary findings indicate that the emails originated from Tamil Nadu, intensifying efforts by the cyber cell to trace the source and identify those behind the threats. The email is said to be from the Tamil Nadu in-charge of an ISI cell, stating the attack was to divert attention from a local scam. The cyber cell in Tamil Nadu has been alerted to help trace the origin of the email and identify the sender.
