Raja Raghuvanshi Murder Case: Passenger Slaps Accused At Indore Airport — Video

All four accused of killing Raja Raghuvanshi were masked, making it unclear who was attacked. A video of the sudden assault has since gone viral on social media.

Tensions ran high at Indore's Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport on Tuesday night when a passenger slapped one of the accused in the high-profile Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. The incident occurred as a 12-member Meghalaya Police team escorted four accused, Raj Kushwah, Vishal Chauhan, Akash Rajput, and Anand Kurmi, through the terminal on their way back to Shillong after securing their transit remand from a local court.

A bystander waiting with his luggage reportedly lashed out in anger, striking one of the accused as they passed. All four were masked, making it unclear who was attacked. A video of the sudden assault has since gone viral on social media.

Indore Police officials confirmed the transfer and ongoing cooperation with the Meghalaya authorities. Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotia said that the police team departed with the accused shortly after the court hearing.

Sonam Stayed In MP After Raja's Murder

Investigators believe that after orchestrating the murder of her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, in Meghalaya on May 23, the prime accused, his wife, Sonam, travelled to Indore and stayed in a rented flat in the Dewas Naka area between May 25 and 27. Her movements during that time are still under investigation.

As part of the ongoing probe, Meghalaya Police also visited Vishal Chauhan’s residence in Indore, where clothing believed to have been worn during the murder was recovered. “These items will be sent for forensic testing to detect blood stains,” said ACP Poonamchandra Yadav.

According to Meghalaya Police, Sonam conspired with her alleged lover Raj Kushwah to have her husband killed while they were on their honeymoon. The case has shocked the nation and continues to draw widespread attention.
