S Sathish, 51, a well-known breeder from Bengaluru who owns over 150 different breeds, stopped breeding dogs about a decade ago. He now earns between £2,200 for 30 minutes and £9,000 for five hours by showcasing his unique canine collection to eager audiences.

Sathish, who is also president of the Indian Dog Breeders Association, said, “He is an extremely rare breed of dog and looks exactly like a wolf. This breed has not been sold in the world before.”
He added, "The dog was bred in the US and is extraordinary. I spent 50 million rupees on buying this pup because I am fond of dogs and like to own unique dogs and introduce them to India.”Caucasian Shepherds, known for their muscular build and fluffy coats, originate from cold countries such as Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and parts of Russia. These dogs are celebrated as exceptional guard dogs, often used to protect livestock from wolves on mountainous terrain.
Okami has already made a mark in Karnataka, where Sathish has paraded him at several high-profile events, including film premieres. One clip of Okami on the red carpet has attracted almost 3 million views online, Sathish claimed.
