A shocking incident in Pune left people stunned after a video of a car falling from the first floor of an apartment's parking complex surfaced on the internet. A loud crash was heard after the vehicle hit the ground. The video also shows several people in the vicinity rushing toward the car after the dramatic incident.
How The Internet Reacted
After the video surfaced, several social media users raised concerns regarding the quality of the the construction of the parking wall that collapsed, questioning the structure's ability to withstand such unforeseen incidents.
One social media user wrote, “Wall construction quality?" Another asked, "Is there any wall provided for the safety of the residents? it just came down without any obstruction. Such parking can be dangerous. Why elevator was not used?"
"As per speed I think it is an automatic car. Indians purchase automatic cars but they don’t know the basics and how they work! Nowadays, you will find more automatic cars involved in accidents in India," a third commented.
Another social media user said: "Damn. All these fancy communities yet have such terribly flimsy walls."
“Although it’s the driver’s mistake but look at the quality of that concrete wall. Not much speed was there and still it broke that wall. At least there should some iron rods in those boundaries to prevent such accidents," a fifth suggested.
