Noida: Car Catches Fire Near Gaur City Mall, Leads To Traffic Congestion

Due to the fire, there was a long trail of vehicles between Gaur City mall and Parthala bridge in Noida. The cause of the fire remain unclear so far.

In yet another incident, a car caught fire in Noida near Gaur City Mall on Wednesday evening. The car was completely gutted due to the blaze, leading to traffic snarls in the area in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. 

Due to the fire, there was a long trail of vehicles between Gaur City mall and Parthala bridge in Noida. Two fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. The cause of the fire in the hatchback remains unclear. The fire was extinguished shortly after the incident.

The incident comes days after a moving car had caught fire near Gaur Chowk in the Bisrakh Kotwali area on March 17. The driver somehow managed to save himself by jumping out, but the car burnt to ashes.

According to information received from the Bisrakh Kotwali police, the car, a Tata Harrier, was reported to have caught fire near Gaur City Chowk on March 17. The cause of the fire is believed to have been be a short circuit.
