Mumbai Traffic Police Issue Advisory Ahead Of Oath-Taking Ceremony, Check Here
Ahead of the oath-taking ceremony in Mumbai on Thursday, traffic restrictions will be in place from 12 noon due to expected large crowds.
Mumbai Traffic police have issued a set of advisories ahead of the oath-taking ceremony in the city on Thursday. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Azad Maidan Ground in south Mumbai at 5:30 pm in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A large number of people are expected to attend the event, the police said, adding the advisory is being issued in order to avoid obstruction and inconvenience to the public.
The order will remain in force on Thursday from 12 noon till the end of the programme, it added.
Police also urged the attendees to reach the venue using public transport since there are no parking facilities at Azad Maidan Ground.
In view of the swearing-in ceremony at Azad Maidan Ground on 05/12/2024, a large number of people are expected to attend the function.

Traffic shall be prohibited between CSMT Junction and Vasudev Balawant Phadake Chowk (Metro Junction) from both ways. Commuters can take the alternative route: LT Marg - Chakala Junction - Right turn - DN Road - CSMT Junction towards their destination and vice versa.
Vehicular traffic between Chafekar Bandhu Chowk and Vasudev Phadake Chowk will also be prohibited. Optional route: LT Marg - Chakala Junction - Right turn - DN Road - CSMT Junction towards destination.
The traffic will be restricted from Chafekar Bandhu Road and SCMT Junction. Commuters can take the optional route: Chafekar Bandhu Chowk - Hutatma Chowk - Kalaghoda - K Dubhash Marg - Shahid Bhagatsing Marg towards the desired destination.
