IndiGo Flight Scare At Mumbai Airport After ‘Danger’ Message Found In Toilet

The aircraft, scheduled for Ahmedabad, was thoroughly searched by authorities. No explosives were found, and the alert was lifted.

A brief scare unfolded at Mumbai’s international airport after a piece of tissue paper bearing the word “danger” was discovered inside the toilet of an IndiGo aircraft, triggering a bomb alert and heightened security response.

The incident occurred while IndiGo flight 911, scheduled to operate between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, was being prepared for its onward journey.

Bomb Alert Sparks Panic at Airport

The aircraft was stationed near Gate No. 5 when the suspicious note was found. Authorities were immediately alerted, prompting the fire brigade to inform the Mumbai control room about a potential bomb threat.

The alert led to a temporary atmosphere of panic at the airport as emergency protocols were activated.

Aircraft Cleared After Thorough Checks

Following the alert, police and security agencies carried out a detailed inspection of the aircraft. After a comprehensive search, officials confirmed that no suspicious or hazardous objects were found on board.

The situation was brought under control, and the aircraft was declared safe after the investigation.
