MP Shocker: Class 7 Girl Confined, Gangraped By 2 Men In 3 Days In Mandla

The girl came in contact with one of the accused on social media who raped her on the pretext that he would take her to Kanha Tiger Reserve.

A minor girl was gang-raped reportedly by two men for three days in Madhya Pradesh's Mandla, said the police on Thursday. The accused who confined the girl in a house are on the run.

According to a report by the Times of India, the survivor, a class 7 student and resident of Jabalpur, befriended one of the accused, Rajan who is a resident of Manlda on social media around six months ago, said the police.

They exchanged contact numbers and began chatting with each other. The police said that Rajan invited the victim to Mandla, promising to take her to Kanha Tiger Reserve.

On April 26, the victim travelled 100 kilometres to Mandla to meet Rajan but he took her to a friend's place where they held her captive and gang-raped her repeatedly for three days, the police added.

On Thursday, the two men dropped her off at a bus stand in Mandla telling her to go home. They threatened the girl that if she told anyone about the gang rape, they would kill her.

On reaching home, the girl confided in her family who immediately took her to police. A case was booked the same night and police teams were sent out in search of the suspects.
