Delhi Man Suffers Severe Injuries In Private Part After Assault By His Friend In Seelampur

A 22-year-old man sustained serious injuries to his private part after being attacked by a friend in the Seelampur area of northeast Delhi. The assault occurred on January 11 when the victim identified as Sonu was allegedly attacked, according to police.

As per the report by news agency PTI, Sonu's brother immediately took him to the Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, where doctors diagnosed his injuries as 'blunt trauma' and referred him to a higher medical facility for advanced treatment.

An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, police confirmed. Efforts are underway to apprehend the attacker, who remains at large.

Mumbai Woman Stabs Mother With Kitchen Knife

In a separate shocking incident, a woman killed her elderly mother on suspicion that she loved her elder sister more than her in Mumbai. The incident came to light on Friday (January 3).

The 62-year-old, Sabira Bano, who used to live with her son in the city's Mumbra area went to visit her younger daughter Reshma Muzaffar (41) in Kurla's Qureshi Nagar. 

An argument broke out between the mother and daughter as the latter accused her mother of loving the elder sister more and hating her. The confrontation escalated quickly with Reshma accusing her mother of bias. 

The argument turned violent when Reshma went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife, stabbing her mother to death. After committing the murder, she surrendered at Chunabhatti police station and told the police that she had murdered her mother.

Police reached the spot and recovered the dead body. The accused woman has been detained and the police are further investigating the case.
