Another Fire In Maha Kumbh Mela Area In Prayagraj, 2 Cars Gutted
Two parked vehicles caught fire in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on the road to Mahakumbh Mela due to extreme heat. Fire engines controlled the blaze, and no casualties were reported.

According to the information provided by UP fire services officer Vishal Yadav, cause of fire was extreme heat. He added that no one was injured in the incident, and everyone was safe.
The officer said, ""...Devotees are coming from far-flung areas and have parked their vehicles here. The fire broke out due to extreme heat. Fire engines have reached the spot and the fire has been controlled. The Ertiga car is completely burnt and the Venue car is partially burnt. There are no casualties in the incident, everyone is safe...", reported by news agency ANI.

A few days back also a fire broke out at the Maha Kumbh Mela in a tent opposite the Kinnar Akhara. The incident caused panic among those nearby, however timely intervention prevented the fire from spreading further. As per the details about incident,the eyewitnesses said that as soon as the fire broke out, local devotees attempted to douse the flames with buckets of water, while personnel stationed at a watchtower promptly alerted the fire department.
Earlier, the Director General (DG) Fire Avinash Chandra, amid concerns over fire safety at the religious gathering, said, "In the entire Kumbh area, fire safety has been taken with great sincerity," highlighting the deployment of 53 fire stations, 20 fire posts, and over 1,300 fire personnel."
