MP Shocker! Woman Drags Elderly Mother-In-Law By The Hair: VIDEO

An elderly woman was assaulted by her daughter-in-law after intervening to stop her son's assault by in-laws. The incident was caught on CCTV and is under police investigation.

An elderly woman was allegedly assaulted by her daughter-in-law, who dragged her, threw her to the floor, and hit her on the head. The attack reportedly occurred after the woman intervened to protect her son from being beaten by his in-laws in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

In the viral video, an altercation begins between the son-in-law, Vishal Batra, when his father-in-law slaps him. Hearing the commotion, the wife, Neelika, hurriedly comes down the stairs, along with the couple’s child. While her mother-in-law, Sarla Batra, is trying to intervene and break up the fight, the wife drags Sarla by her hair and beats her.

According to NDTV, Vishal Batra, who owns a car spare parts shop, and his mother, Sarla Batra, filed a complaint with the police alleging that their in-laws forcibly entered their home and assaulted them over what they described as a “minor issue.”

Batra told reporters that his wife had been pressuring him to send his mother to an old-age home — a demand he refused to comply with. Sarla alleged that on the afternoon of April 1, Neelika and her father arrived at their Adarsh Colony residence accompanied by some goons. The CCTV footage reportedly captured the altercation between Vishal and his father-in-law. As Vishal attempted to defend himself, more people forced their way in and began assaulting him.

Vishal further alleged that his brother-in-law threatened to kill him and his mother. He claimed that his in-laws forcefully took over his house—reportedly worth crores—locked it, and left him and his mother stranded outside. He also accused his wife of threatening to file false cases against both him and his mother.

He further alleged that the police were initially hesitant to take action but eventually registered an FIR. On Friday, he approached the Superintendent of Police's office, after which the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) assured Vishal that strict action would be taken in the matter.
