Haryana Weather Update: Light Showers Expected

For the past several days, residents of Haryana have been struggling with intense heat. The meteorological department has predicted that the monsoon is likely to become active again in the state from Thursday, July 18. This could lead to a drop in temperature, providing significant relief from the heat.

In many places across the state, temperatures have been hovering around 40 degrees Celsius for the past few days. Earlier, the mercury had soared to 48 degrees Celsius, but light rains before the monsoon caused a decrease in temperatures.

Winds coming from the northwest had increased the temperature in the state, weakening the monsoon. However, the monsoon is expected to become active again from today, Thursday, July 18. The formation of a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal has weakened the monsoon, leading to a possibility of light showers in a few places in Haryana over the next 24 hours.

During this period, many areas in Haryana will experience cloudy skies, while some places may see intense sunlight and humidity, increasing discomfort for residents. According to the met office, the temperature in Haryana is currently between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius. If the monsoon becomes active, a drop in temperature can be expected.

Farmers are particularly troubled by the lack of rain. This year, the entire state of Haryana has received significantly less rainfall than normal. There are still nine districts in Haryana where rainfall has been below average, which is detrimental to the crops.
