As per the information, over 50 people were safely rescued and no casualties were reported. As of now, cooling operations are underway. Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi has also visited the site.

Speaking on the fire incident, Harsh Sanghavi said, "In Surat city’s Vesu area, a major fire broke out this morning on the 9th floor of U-2 in the Happy Excellencia Society. Fortunately, no one was inside the flat at the time as the residents were out. The fire was so intense that within minutes it spread to the floors above and below..."

Fire Breaks Out In A Hotel In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
A massive fire has broke out at a hotel near Tisgaon Khavda Hill in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar late at night.
As per the details, no one was hurt in the incident. Officials said that the blaze in the hotel, reportedly owned by Shiv Sena MLA Pradip Jaiswal, started at 8:15 PM and was doused in an hour. A probe into the incident is underway, he added.
"No one was hurt in the incident. A probe is on to ascertain the cause of the fire," the official said.
