1 Dead As Miscreant Open Fire In Delhi's Vikaspuri, 2nd Shooting Incident In 24 Hours

One person was killed in a shooting attack by unidentified individuals in Delhi's Vikaspuri area.

One person was killed after unidentified miscreants opened fire on a vehicle in Delhi's Vikaspuri area on Friday. Police have reached the spot and more details are awaited. 

The incident comes within 24 hours of another shooting incident that took place on Thursday evening. A 25-year-old man was injured in the firing which was reported to Dayalpur police station at around 10 pm, according to Delhi police. 

Police officials reached Gali No 15 in Mustafabd where one Ateeq Ahmed informed the cops that his son Mehraj (25) was shot at by unknown assailants. 

Mehraj sustained injury in the incident and was taken to GTB Hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment, the police said.

A case has been registered by the police under sections 109(1)/3(5) of the BNS and 27/54/59 of the Arms Act at Dayalpur police station. 

The investigation is being supervised by the ACP Gokulpuri and SHO Dayalpur at the location, whilst the Crime Team and FSL are examining the scene. 
Police teams have been formed to identify and capture the suspects.
